Four years ago I was chasing seagulls with trained falcons for a living. I had a background in fine art, but I didn’t know anything about 3D modeling. Then a friend showed me what can be done in Zbrush and Maya and I put everything aside to move to Seattle and pursue this mysterious thing. And now here I am.

I have been lucky enough to have worked in two great studio environments since I got here. I started out with an internship as a character artist at ArenaNet. I got to make some awesome stuff for Guild Wars 2 during my contract there, including armor and disturbing monsters and cute minipets.

Pretty soon after my contract at ArenaNet ended, I got picked up by the newly-formed Cryptic North studios as a creature and character artist. We were working on a realistic third person game on the Unreal 4 Engine. I got to make a lot of high profile assets, like large high-resolution creatures and also faces and clothing for the main human characters. Unfortunately, the project was cancelled.

I am hoping to find work in a studio in the Seattle area if possible. I have grown to really love it here. I have gotten a taste of seeing my characters shipped in games and it’s a great feeling. I am passionate about making good work and I love collaborating with a team to create something amazing together.
